Mike Torino (writing as J.T. Simpson) is an East Haven, Connecticut-born storyteller, retired career
firefighter/paramedic, and lifelong Parrothead. Through his alter ego, he blends humor, heart, and island soul
into stories that celebrate the lessons learned between life’s high tides and hurricanes.
